When do you need drawing paper?
Mi-Teintes drawing paper from CANSON is specially developed for drawing and sketching with dry techniques such as pastel, charcoal, chalk and pencil. You choose this paper when you want more than ordinary copy paper and need a surface that holds pigment well and delivers a beautiful result.

Why choose this large format?
The 500×650 mm format gives you ample space for detailed drawings and extensive compositions. This format is ideal for portraits, landscapes or technical sketches where you don't want to be restricted by the paper dimensions. The size gives you the freedom to both colour in large areas and work out fine details.

The benefits of 160 g/m² paper weight
With a weight of 160 g/m², this paper has the right sturdiness for intensive use without tearing when erasing or working it. The paper is heavy enough to carry multiple layers of material, yet remains workable for various techniques. This grammage prevents the paper from curling or warping while you draw.

Working practically with grey drawing paper
The grey colour of this paper gives you a neutral mid-tone to work with. This allows you to create contrasts with both light and dark materials. You get 10 sheets per pack, which is handy for a series of drawings or for trying out different techniques without buying a large stock straight away.
