When do you need special drawing paper?
Canson Mi-Teintes drawing paper has been developed for professional drawing techniques where ordinary copier paper falls short. You choose this paper when working with dry techniques such as pastel, charcoal, chalk or pencil, where the texture and weight of the paper are crucial to the final result.

Why choose the 500×650 mm size?
This generous size gives you ample working space for detailed drawings and artworks without being limited by the paper size. The 500×650 mm format is ideal for portraits, landscapes or technical drawings where you want to work out details well. The dimensions fall between A2 and A1 format, which is practical for both studio and home use.

The 160 g/m² weight for stability
With a paper weight of 160 g/m², you get a sturdy surface that is unlikely to tear or crease while you draw. This weight ensures the paper lies flat and can carry several layers of drawing and colouring materials without sagging. The grey mottled surface in colour 431 provides a neutral base that brings out both dark and light accents beautifully.

Practical packaging for regular use
The pack of 10 sheets is handy for artists who draw regularly but don't want to build up large stocks straight away. You have enough paper for several projects without the paper needing to be stored for long, which benefits its quality.
