When do you need this drawing paper?
CANSON Mi-Teintes drawing paper has been specially developed for dry drawing media such as chalk, charcoal, pastel pencils and graphite. Use this paper when you want to draw with materials that need more grip and texture than regular drawing paper offers. The turquoise blue provides an alternative to white paper and can give your drawings a unique look.

Why the 500×650 mm size is the right choice
This size gives you enough room for larger compositions and detailed work without the paper becoming unwieldy. With 10 sheets in the pack, you have enough material for a series of drawings or to experiment with different techniques. The size is large enough for serious drawing work yet still practical for use on a standard drawing table.

About the paper weight of 160 g/m²
The weight of 160 g/m² provides a sturdy surface that withstands intensive use with dry drawing media. This paper is thicker than standard drawing paper, so it is less likely to tear or sag while you draw. The texture holds chalk and charcoal well without you having to press too hard.

Practical tip for use
Always store unused paper flat and dry to prevent creasing and moisture. When working with pastel pencils or charcoal, it is best to use a fixative spray to protect your drawing. The turquoise blue works particularly well in combination with white and dark chalk colours, allowing you to create beautiful contrasts.
