What are watercolour pencils and when do you use them?
Watercolour pencils combine the ease of coloured pencils with the possibilities of watercolour paint. You first draw dry, just like with regular pencils, and then you can use water and a brush to blend and mix the colours into watercolour effects. This makes them ideal for artists who want to experiment with different techniques in a single piece of work.

Why choose a set of 80 colours?
With 80 different colours you have an extensive palette for professional projects and detailed colour work. This large selection lets you create subtle colour transitions and find specific shades without much mixing. The metal tin keeps all the pencils organised and protects them during transport.

Soft lead for optimal colour results
The soft 3.8 mm lead delivers rich colour that dissolves easily in water. Thanks to the soft composition you get intense colours that blend effortlessly with a damp brush. This type of lead is specially developed for artistic applications where colour intensity and workability are important.

Practical design for long-term use
The cedar wood and the hexagonal shape of the barrel provide a comfortable grip that won't roll off your worktable. The hexagonal shape prevents the pencils from rolling off a sloping surface, which is handy while you work. The sturdy cedar wood holds the lead firmly in place and sharpens easily with a standard pencil sharpener.
