Perfect for sketching and shading! This pencil produces rich lines and sits steadily in your hand thanks to its hexagonal shape. The special bonding prevents breaking.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The Faber-Castell CASTELL 9000 pencil is designed for drawing and sketching with soft lines. The pencil delivers rich strokes that are perfect for artistic work, shading techniques and expressive drawings. You choose this pencil when you want more intensity and contrast in your work.
Why this pencil?
This pencil is ideal for creative applications and gives you the ability to create both fine details and broad, soft hatching. It easily deposits pigment onto paper, allowing you to quickly create beautiful transitions and depth without applying much pressure.
Durable construction with protection
This pencil has a hexagonal shape that sits comfortably in your hand and won't roll off your desk. The special bonding protects the graphite lead against breaking, even with intensive use. The green lacquer is applied using water-based lacquer technology, which ensures a durable finish that withstands daily use.
Practical specifications
The graphite lead has a diameter of approximately 2 mm, which strikes a good balance between line thickness and durability. The hexagonal shape gives you more grip and control while drawing. The green lacquer finish makes the pencil easy to recognise among other drawing materials, handy when you work with several pencils.
