When do you use the CASTELL 9000 pencil?
The CASTELL 9000 pencil is specifically designed for precision work where you need thin, light lines. You use this type of pencil for technical drawing, architectural sketches or when you need to work out very precise details. The graphite lead deposits material on paper in a controlled way, giving you a great deal of control over the line thickness.

Why the hexagonal shape makes the difference
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your desk while you work. This design also gives you a better grip and more control while drawing or writing. For long periods of precision work, this shape is more practical than round pencils, because your fingers find a natural resting position.

Durability thanks to special bonding
This pencil features a special bonding technique that prevents the graphite lead from breaking. This protection ensures the lead stays intact, even with intensive use or if you drop the pencil. The approx. 2 mm thick lead provides sufficient material for long-lasting use.

Recognisable green finish with water-based lacquer
The green lacquer with water-based lacquer technology makes this pencil easy to recognise among your other drawing instruments. This finish is not only aesthetic, but also protects the wood against moisture and wear. You can therefore use this pencil without any problems in various work environments without the quality deteriorating.
