This hexagonal pencil feels comfortable in your hand and prevents rolling off your desk. The break-protective special bonding gives a strong graphite lead that is less likely to snap.
When do you choose this product?
Why choose the CASTELL 9000 pencil?
The CASTELL 9000 pencil is a reliable choice for precise drawing work and technical design. The special bonding keeps the graphite lead firmly in place, so you can work efficiently without constantly breaking the tip.
Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this pencil stops it from rolling off your drawing board or desk, which is especially handy during long drawing sessions. This shape also sits comfortably in your hand and gives you more grip during use. For professional drawing work, this shape offers the stability you need for consistent lines.
What does the special bonding mean for your work?
This pencil has a special break-resistant bonding that ensures the graphite lead stays firmly connected to the wood. This means fewer broken tips during your work, so you can keep going without having to sharpen constantly.
Practical tip for optimal use
With the approximately 2 mm thick lead, you get a good balance between line thickness and durability. Sharpen the pencil regularly for the best results, and store it lying down to protect the tip. The green water-based lacquer technology ensures the lacquer won't flake off, even with intensive use.
