What is this rollerball pen and when do you use it?
A rollerball pen is the right choice when you want to write smoothly and without much pressure. The Free Ink from Faber-Castell uses liquid ink that glides effortlessly across the paper, which makes it ideal for long writing sessions where your hand tires quickly with an ordinary ballpoint pen.

Why this size and this colour?
With a writing width of 0.4 mm and a conical tip, you write finely and precisely. That makes this pen handy for diaries, notes in the margin or clear annotations on smaller formats. The pink ink stands out from standard blue or black, making it practical for colour-coding in your planner or highlighting tasks in a notebook.

A frank word about the material
The pen is made up of 83% recycled plastic. This means you have a functional writing instrument that deliberately makes use of reused raw materials. The light grey body combines with the pink ink for a recognisable look, but the added value lies mainly in the sustainable composition of the pen itself.

Practical tip: checking the ink and using it
Thanks to the ink window in the body, you can easily see how much ink is left in the pen, so you won't unexpectedly run out during a meeting or working day. Always make sure to replace the cap after use to prevent the conical tip from drying out.
