When do you use a fine rollerball pen?

A rollerball pen is the right choice when you want to write smoothly and precisely without having to apply much pressure. The Free Ink rollerball pen from Faber-Castell is fitted with a conical 0.4 mm tip, which makes it suitable for situations where you need a fine, sharp line — think of filling in forms, taking notes or correcting texts in red.

Why red and this format?

Red ink is traditionally used for corrections, marking exam papers or highlighting priorities in documents. The 0.4 mm writing width ensures that annotations remain legible without taking up too much space on the page. This makes the pen a practical choice for anyone who regularly gives feedback on paper documents.

Constant ink flow and ink level control

An important feature of this rollerball pen is its constant ink flow, so you experience no interruptions or smudges while writing. Through the viewing window in the pen, you can check at any time how much ink is left, so you won't run out unexpectedly at an inconvenient moment.

Sustainable material choice

The barrel of this pen is made of 83% recycled plastic. If you are mindful of material use at the office or at home, this is a tangible point to consider when making your purchase. The light grey colour of the body also makes it easy to quickly distinguish this red pen from other pens in your pen holder or case.
