What does this rollerball pen do, and when do you need it?

A rollerball pen is ideal if you want smoother, effortless writing compared with an ordinary ballpoint. The Free Ink Fine from Faber-Castell delivers orange ink, which makes it ideal for colour-coding, marking notes or adding eye-catching highlights in your notes and planners.

Why choose this particular format?

With a writing width of 0.4 mm and a conical tip, you write precisely and in detail. This format suits small handwriting or situations where you want to fit a lot of text into limited space, such as filling in diaries, forms or annotating documents.

An honest look at sustainability

The body of this pen is made up of 83% recycled plastic. That is a concrete choice if you care about how materials are used, but it does not change the writing experience itself. The ink flow is kept constant, which means you won't notice any variation in line thickness while writing. Through the transparent window in the pen, you can also see for yourself how much ink is left, so you won't unexpectedly run out.

Practical tip for everyday use

Check the ink level regularly through the ink window, especially if you use the pen intensively. Store the pen with the cap on to prevent it from drying out. The light grey body with orange ink also makes this pen easy to spot among other pens in your pen holder, handy if you work with multiple colours for a colour-coded system.
