When do you need a jumbo colouring pencil?
This triangular jumbo colouring pencil has been specially developed for children who are just starting to draw and colour. The extra thick lead of 5.3 mm means the pencil is less likely to break, even with somewhat firmer use. Thanks to the jumbo format, the pencil sits more securely in small hands.

Why choose a triangular shape?
The triangular shape of this Faber-Castell pencil helps children learn the correct pencil grip automatically. Your fingers naturally fall into the right position, which gives more control while drawing. This prevents cramped hands and makes colouring for longer periods more comfortable.

The grip zone makes the difference
This pencil has a special grip zone that offers extra hold. This zone prevents small fingers from slipping while colouring, so you have more precision when filling in small areas. The plum colour gives a warm, natural shade that combines well with other colours.

Practical benefits for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil has a handy size that is neither too long nor too short. The pencil is water-soluble, which means you can spread the colour with a damp brush for watercolour effects. The built-in name field ensures the pencil doesn't easily get lost at school or at home.
