When should you choose Jumbo colouring pencils?
Jumbo colouring pencils are specially developed for children who are just starting to draw and colour. The extra thick 5.3 mm lead ensures the pencil is less likely to break, even with somewhat rougher use. This makes them ideal for toddlers, pre-schoolers and young primary school children who are still developing their fine motor skills.

Why the triangular shape makes the difference
The triangular shape of this Faber-Castell pencil helps children automatically develop the correct grip. Combined with the soft grip zone, small hands can hold the pencil better without it slipping away. This prevents cramped fingers and makes colouring for longer periods much more comfortable.

Versatile thanks to its water-soluble property
This colouring pencil is water-soluble, which means you can go over the drawn lines with a damp brush for a watercolour effect. This allows you to apply both dry colouring and painting techniques with the same pencil. The green colour gives vibrant results, whether used dry or wet.

Practical details for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil sits comfortably in the hand without being too heavy. The name field on the pencil lets you write the child's name on it, which is handy for use at school or in childcare, where pencils often go missing. Store the pencil lying down to protect the tip.
