What does this colouring pencil do?
The Faber-Castell Jumbo Grip colouring pencil has been specially developed for children who are learning to draw and colour. Thanks to the extra-thick 5.3 mm lead, you can easily fill in areas and get intense colours on paper. The pencil is water-soluble, which means you can blend the colour with water for special effects.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape ensures you automatically hold the pencil correctly between thumb, index finger and middle finger. This helps children develop a good pencil grip and prevents the pencil from rolling off the table. The Soft-Grip zone provides extra grip, especially useful for small fingers still getting used to drawing.

The benefits of the thick lead
With a lead thickness of 5.3 mm, this pencil is much sturdier than ordinary colouring pencils. The thick lead is less likely to break, even when children press a little harder while colouring. This means you can keep colouring for longer without interruptions and get consistently lovely results.

Practical details for everyday use
The pencil is 175 mm long, a comfortable size for children's hands. The name field on the pencil is handy for school or childcare, so the pencil doesn't get lost. Thanks to the honey colour, you can easily spot this particular pencil among other colouring pencils in the pencil case.
