When should you choose a matt graphite pencil?
The PITT GRAPHITE Matt pencil has been developed for artists who work with graphite and are bothered by distracting reflection on their paper. This pencil offers a solution when you want to create dark, deep tones without light bouncing off your drawing. It is ideal for portraits, shading and other artworks where a matt finish is essential.

Why choose the 4B hardness grade?
The 4B hardness grade produces a soft graphite deposit that is perfect for creating deep, dark tones. This hardness lets you quickly colour in large areas and create soft transitions. For artists who want to make expressive, dark accents or do a lot of shading, 4B offers the right balance between softness and control.

Extra matt deposit for professional work
What makes this pencil special is its extremely matt graphite deposit, which greatly reduces reflection on paper. This allows you to assess your artwork better while drawing, without disruptive light reflections. The high tonal density ensures you can achieve deep blacks, which are important for contrast in your drawings.

Durable and reliable for intensive use
The pencil is lacquered with water-based lacquer and made extra break-resistant, making it suitable for intensive artistic use. You can sharpen the pencil normally with a pencil sharpener or graphite knife. Store it in a dry place and avoid dropping it to protect the graphite core optimally.
