This is why Dex likes this article
This matt graphite pencil from Faber-Castell gives you extra soft, deep strokes without distracting reflection on paper. Perfect for artistic drawings and sketches where you want to create rich tonal values.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need an extremely matt pencil?
This Faber-Castell PITT GRAPHITE Matt pencil has been specially developed for artists who work with graphite and want maximum control over light reflection. Thanks to the matt graphite release, no gloss appears on your paper, giving your drawing a natural, professional look without distracting reflections.
Why choose hardness grade 12B?
With hardness grade 12B, you have an extremely soft graphite core that produces intense, deep black lines. This hardness grade is ideal when you need the highest tonal density for dramatic contrasts in your artwork. You can create rich, dark shadows and powerful accents with it.
The benefits of matt graphite release
What makes this pencil special is its matt graphite formulation, which reduces reflection on paper. This allows you to assess your drawing under different lighting conditions without shiny spots distracting you. This is especially valuable for detailed drawing work where precision and consistent tonal values are crucial.
Extra durability thanks to water-based lacquer
This pencil is coated with water-based lacquer and made extra break-resistant. You can therefore work with more pressure without the core breaking, which is particularly handy during intensive use and when creating deep, dark tones. Store the pencil horizontally to maximise its lifespan.
