When do you need a professional stretcher frame?
A stretcher frame is used as the base for paintings with paint. This canvas is suitable for both beginning and experienced artists who want to experiment with different types of paint.

Advantage of the four-layer primer
This canvas is primed four times, which provides a stable, slightly absorbent surface. The primer prevents paint from soaking into the cotton fabric and gives you more control over how the paint is applied. The 100% cotton at 400 grams per square metre offers a durable base that does not sag easily.

Compatibility with different painting techniques
You can use this canvas for oil, acrylic and gouache paint. The slightly absorbent primer works well with these three main techniques, while each type of paint keeps its own character. Do note, however, that oil paintings require a longer drying time than acrylic or gouache.
