What is this stretcher frame and when do you use it?
A stretcher frame is a pre-primed canvas stretched over a wooden frame, ready for use by artists. You need this when you want to paint with professional results without having to stretch and prepare a canvas yourself.

Why choose this 40×120 cm format?
This elongated panoramic format of 40×120 cm is ideal for landscapes, skylines or abstract compositions where you want to create a wide perspective. The dimensions give you plenty of room for horizontal compositions without the canvas becoming too tall for most workspaces.

Benefits of the 4-layer primed ground
The canvas has a 4-layer ground that is slightly absorbent, so paint adheres well but does not sink completely into the canvas. This professional preparation saves you time and provides an even surface suitable for various techniques. The 100% cotton of 400 g/m² offers a sturdy, durable base.

Suitable for multiple painting techniques
This stretcher frame works excellently with oil, acrylic and gouache paints. Thanks to the special ground, you don't need to choose a different canvas for each type of paint. The bar depth of 20×45 mm provides sufficient stability, even when applying thicker layers of paint or during intensive painting.
