When do you choose this product?
What does this stretcher frame do and when do you need it?
A stretcher frame is a paintable canvas that is stretched tightly over a wooden frame. You use it for creating paintings with paints such as oil paint, acrylic paint or gouache. This KREUL stretcher frame is suitable for artists who want to paint on a professional surface that is ready to use straight away.
Benefits of the 4-fold primed cotton
The canvas is made of 100% cotton with a weight of 400 g/m² and is 4-fold primed. This priming ensures that the surface is lightly absorbent, so paint adheres well without sinking in too much. The cotton offers a natural texture that is suitable for various painting techniques and gives your work an authentic look.
Compatibility with different types of paint
This stretcher frame works optimally with oil paint, acrylic paint and gouache. Thanks to the special priming, you don't need to apply any extra pre-treatment - you can start painting straight away. The frame has a depth of 19 x 38 mm, which provides sufficient depth for stability without the canvas sagging while you paint.
