When do you need a Cat. 5e network cable?
A Cat. 5e network cable is used to connect devices with an internet connection to your router, switch or modem. This type of cable is essential for a stable internet connection in offices, home workspaces or when setting up a wired network. You need this cable when WiFi is not sufficient or when your devices require a reliable, fast connection.

Why choose a 15 metre length?
With a 15 metre cable length, you can easily bridge the distance between different rooms or floors. This length offers enough flexibility for connecting devices further away from your internet point, such as printers, computers or network storage in another room. You don't need to join several shorter cables together, which makes the connection more stable.

Unshielded U/UTP technology
This cable uses unshielded U/UTP technology with 4 x 2 wires of AWG 26/7. The 1:1 wiring ensures that both ends are connected identically, which is standard for direct device connections. The PVC material of the jacket offers sufficient protection for indoor use in normal office environments.

Practical benefits of the RJ45 connectors
The RJ45 connectors have gold-plated contacts that prevent corrosion and guarantee a stable connection. The moulded boot with grey strain relief protects the cable against breakage when bent. The category and cable type are printed on the cable, so you can easily identify later which type of cable you have used.
