What does this product do?
A Cat. 5e network cable connects computers, printers and other devices to your network or internet. You need this type of cable when you want a reliable wired connection between devices and your router, switch or modem. The Cat. 5e standard supports most modern applications in office and home environments.

Why choose a 20-metre length?
With 20 metres you have sufficient reach for larger spaces or when you want to connect devices on different floors. This length gives you flexibility when setting up workstations without having to join several shorter cables. It is a practical middle ground between handy cables for nearby devices and very long connections.

Unshielded cable for standard applications
This U/UTP cable is unshielded, meaning there is no additional protection against electromagnetic interference. For normal office environments and homes this is usually sufficient. The cable has a 1:1 pin assignment, which ensures a direct connection between both ends without crossed wires.

Practical details for use
The cable has RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for better conductivity and less corrosion. The grey strain relief boots protect the vulnerable transition between cable and connector. You can recognise the specifications from the print on the cable itself, which lists the category and cable type. This cable works with all standard network equipment that has RJ45 ports.
