When do you need a thick pigment marker?
The POSCA PC-8K is designed for large-scale work where you want to draw broad, opaque strokes of 8.0 mm. This type of marker is ideal for making posters, large drawings, street art, or when you need to apply text and designs to large surfaces. Thanks to the pigment ink, the strokes also cover well on dark backgrounds.

Why choose this bullet tip variant?
The bullet tip of this POSCA marker gives you the flexibility to both fill broad areas and draw thinner lines, depending on the angle at which you hold the marker. With the 8.0 mm width you can quickly fill large surfaces, but you can also add details by using the tip differently. This makes the PC-8K suitable for both rough work and more detailed work.

What makes pigment ink different?
POSCA markers work with pigment ink instead of the regular ink used by many markers. This pigment ink is more opaque and remains clearly visible on various materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, metal and plastic. The black colour gives intense coverage, and the ink dries to a matt finish, giving you a professional look.

Practical tip for use
Always shake the marker well before use so that the pigments are properly mixed. Test the marker first on a sample piece of the same material, as pigment ink can be permanent on some surfaces. Store the marker horizontally with the cap on to prevent it from drying out and to maintain optimal ink flow.
