When do you use a POSCA pigment marker?
POSCA pigment markers are versatile markers that work with opaque, water-based paint instead of traditional ink. You use them for creative projects, decoration, artwork and marking a variety of materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, metal, glass and plastic. The pigment paint gives an opaque finish with intense, brilliant colours.

Why choose the chisel tip variant?
The chisel tip of this POSCA marker has a unique wedge shape, allowing you to colour broad areas as well as draw finer lines. By holding the marker at a different angle, you can easily vary between thick strokes 8.0 mm wide and narrower lines. This makes the chisel tip ideal for lettering, posters and projects where you need different line widths.

The benefit of red metallic pigment
The red metallic version gives a striking, shimmering finish that differs from ordinary red paint. The metallic pigments create a subtle sheen that catches and reflects the light. This effect is particularly effective on dark surfaces and gives your work a professional, eye-catching appearance.

Practical application and compatibility
With the 8.0 mm line width, this marker is perfect for large-scale work such as posters, signboards or wall decorations. The marker works on virtually all surfaces, but always test first in an inconspicuous spot. For the best results, shake the marker well before use and store it horizontally to keep the pigment paint evenly distributed.
