What does a POSCA pigment marker do?
POSCA pigment markers are versatile marker pens that you can use on almost any surface, from paper and cardboard to glass, metal and plastic. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, they contain pigment ink that is opaque and does not show through, so you can also work on dark backgrounds.

When should you choose the 8.0 mm chisel tip?
This PC-8K variant has a broad chisel tip of 8.0 mm, allowing you to create both thick lines and filled areas. The chisel tip gives you control over line thickness through the angle at which you hold the marker. This makes this marker ideal for filling large surfaces, creating posters, signs or art projects where you need bold, broad strokes.

Why choose the grey version?
Grey is a neutral colour that combines well with other colours and creates subtle accents without being too dominant. This colour is practical for shadow effects, creating gradients in combination with black and white, or for professional applications where you want a muted but still visible marking.

Practical tip for use
Store the POSCA marker horizontally and shake it well before use to mix the pigments thoroughly. Always test first on a small piece of the material you want to work on, especially with porous surfaces. The marker works best on clean, dry surfaces.
