When should you choose oil paint?
Oil paint is the classic choice for artists who want to benefit from its long drying time and rich colour intensity. Because it dries slowly, you can keep colours workable for a long time, blend them directly on the canvas and create gradual transitions. This makes oil paint ideal for portraits, landscapes and other techniques where you need time for detail and colour gradations.

Why choose ultramarine light?
Ultramarine light is an essential blue in every artist's palette. This shade lets you paint bright skies, water and other blue elements without the colour becoming too dark or heavy. You can easily mix ultramarine light with white for pastel tones, or with other colours for subtle variations.

What does the high-quality composition mean?
This Rembrandt oil paint stands out for its even viscosity and high-quality pigments. The consistent texture ensures the paint flows smoothly from the tube and spreads evenly across your canvas. The high-quality pigments deliver an intense colour that does not fade quickly, which is important for artworks that need to remain beautiful for many years.

Practical considerations for 40 ml tubes
A 40 ml tube is a handy stock size for colours you use regularly. Ultramarine is often a basic colour in many paintings, so this quantity prevents you from running through your supply too quickly. Store opened tubes with the cap tightly closed to prevent drying out, and lay them flat so the paint stays evenly distributed.
