When do you need an outdoor network cable?
This Cat. 6A network cable is specially designed for outdoor use where ordinary network cables fail. You need this type of cable when you want a stable network connection between buildings, to an outdoor office, workshop or other locations where the cable is exposed to weather and wind. The cable ensures reliable data transmission up to 500 MHz, so you can also achieve future-proof network speeds.

Why 30 metres may be the right length
With a length of 30 metres, this cable offers sufficient range for most outdoor applications without having to couple multiple cables. This reduces the risk of signal loss and potential weak points in your network connection. The length is ideal for connections between neighbouring buildings or from your head office to an annexe.

IP66 protection for demanding conditions
The cable has IP66 certification, which means it is fully protected against dust and powerful water jets from all directions. It is also water-resistant and oil-resistant, so you can use it in industrial environments or places where it may come into contact with various liquids. The moulded plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure durable connections that are resistant to corrosion.

Important: not suitable for underground installation
Please note that this cable is not suitable for unprotected installation in the ground. For above-ground installation along façades, over roofs or in cable trays, it is excellent. The cable has a diameter of 6.5 mm and features strain relief and bend protection for extra durability at the connection points.
