What does this patch cable do and when do you need it?
A Cat. 8.1 patch cable is used to create network connections between devices such as computers, switches, routers or servers. This cable is specifically designed for professional network environments where you need high data speeds. With its 2000 MHz bandwidth, it is suitable for applications that generate a lot of network traffic.

Why choose Cat. 8.1 and a 10-metre length?
Cat. 8.1 is the latest standard for patch cables and offers the highest performance currently available. The 10-metre length gives you enough room to connect devices that are further apart, for example between different workstations or from a switch to a server in another cabinet. This size is practical for most office environments without unnecessary cable length.

Reliable shielding against interference
This cable has F/FTP shielding with aluminium foil, meaning it is well protected against electromagnetic interference. The PIMF construction ensures that each pair of wires is individually shielded. This prevents signals from other devices or cables from disrupting the network connection, which is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.

Durable materials and safe application
The cable is made with copper conductors and gold-plated CuZnNi connectors that are corrosion-resistant. The LSZH cable jacket is halogen-free, meaning no toxic gases are released when heated. This makes the cable suitable for use in office buildings where fire safety is important. The RJ45 connectors fit all standard network ports.
