This Cat. 8.1 patch cable delivers super-fast data transfer up to 2000 MHz. The short length of 25 cm keeps your workspace tidy, and the yellow colour makes connections instantly recognisable.
When do you choose this product?
What does a Cat. 8.1 patch cable do?
A patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to each other. Cat. 8.1 cables are the latest standard for professional network connections and support very high data speeds. You need this cable when you want reliable network connections in office environments or home workspaces.
Why choose the 0.25 metre length?
This short cable length of 0.25 metres is ideal for short-distance connections, such as between a switch and a patch panel, or between devices that are close together. The short length keeps the cabling neat, without excess cable hanging in the way. This prevents clutter in server cabinets or under your desk.
Why Cat. 8.1 with 2000 MHz bandwidth?
Cat. 8.1 offers a bandwidth of 2000 MHz, which is considerably higher than older cable standards. The F/FTP shielding with aluminium foil protects against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable connections. The AWG 26/7 copper conductors combined with the gold-plated CuZnNi connectors guarantee optimal signal transmission without loss.
Practical benefits and compatibility
The RJ45 connectors (8P8C) are universally compatible with all standard network ports. The LSZH cable sheath is halogen-free, meaning it does not release toxic fumes when heated, which is important in office environments. The yellow colour makes the cable easy to identify in complex network setups, which is useful during maintenance or network expansions.
