This Cat. 8.1 patch cable delivers blazing-fast and stable network connections up to 2000 MHz. The high-quality shielding prevents interference, perfect for professional network environments.
When do you choose this product?
What does a Cat. 8.1 patch cable do?
A patch cable connects network equipment such as computers, switches and routers to each other. You need this cable when you want to connect devices directly to the network for stable, fast internet connections. Cat. 8.1 cables are suitable for professional network environments where high speeds and reliability are crucial.
Why choose the Cat. 8.1 standard?
Cat. 8.1 supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz, which is considerably higher than older standards. This specification makes the cable suitable for future network applications and ensures your network is ready for higher data speeds. The 2.0 metre length gives you enough flexibility for connections in server cabinets or between nearby devices.
F/FTP shielding for stable connections
This cable features F/FTP shielding with aluminium foil and PIMF (Pair in Metal Foil) construction. This protects against electromagnetic interference that can disrupt signal integrity. The shielding is especially important in environments with a lot of electronic equipment or where cables run close together.
Practical details for installation
The cable has AWG 26/7 copper conductors with gold-plated CuZnNi connectors for optimal signal transmission. The LSZH cable sheath material is halogen-free, which produces less toxic fumes when burned. The RJ45 connectors (8P8C) fit all standard network ports. Please note that both devices must support Cat. 8.1 to get the most out of the specifications.
