Professional Cat. 8.1 patch cable for fast network connections up to 2000 MHz. The high-quality shielding ensures stable data transmission without interference.
When do you choose this product?
What does this patch cable do?
A Cat. 8.1 patch cable is used to connect network equipment such as routers, switches and computers in professional network environments. This cable is specially developed for applications that require very high data speeds and where interference must be kept to a minimum.
Why Cat. 8.1 rather than lower categories?
Cat. 8.1 cables support frequencies up to 2000 MHz, which is considerably higher than standard Cat. 6 or Cat. 6a cables. This makes them suitable for future network technologies and ensures your network is ready for higher data speeds without having to invest again soon.
Shielding for stable connections
The F/FTP shielding with aluminium foil and PIMF construction protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices. This is especially important in office environments where a lot of electronic equipment is present. The gold-plated CuZnNi connectors ensure optimal conductivity and prevent corrosion over time.
Practical considerations when using
With a length of 3.0 metres, you have sufficient reach for most office connections without unnecessary cable length. The LSZH sheath is halogen-free, which means that in the event of fire fewer harmful gases are released - an important safety aspect in office environments. Do check that your network equipment supports Cat. 8.1 specifications in order to make the most of the cable's capabilities.
