With this Cat. 8.1 patch cable you can enjoy super-fast internet up to 2000 MHz. The shielding ensures stable, interference-free connections, perfect for your home office or server.
When do you choose this product?
What does a Cat. 8.1 patch cable do?
This patch cable connects network components such as computers, switches and routers in professional network environments. Cat. 8.1 cables are specifically designed for applications that require extremely high data speeds, such as data centres and high-end office networks. You need this cable when standard Cat. 5e or Cat. 6 cables do not provide sufficient bandwidth for your network applications.
Why Cat. 8.1 and not a lower category?
This cable supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz, which is considerably higher than previous categories. The F/FTP shielding with aluminium foil and PIMF construction provides optimal protection against electromagnetic interference. This makes the cable suitable for environments with a lot of electronic equipment, where signal integrity is crucial.
Professional construction for reliability
The AWG 26/7 copper material in the wires guarantees stable signal transmission, while the gold-plated CuZnNi connectors ensure durable and corrosion-resistant connections. The LSZH cable sheath is halogen-free, which is important for safety in office environments because no toxic gases are released when it burns.
Practical considerations when using
The 1.0 metre length makes this cable ideal for short connections in patch cabinets or between nearby equipment. Please note that both devices must support Cat. 8.1 specifications to make optimal use of the high bandwidth. The green colour helps with organising different network connections according to your colour-coding system.
