What does this brush pen do and when do you need it?
The STABILO Pen 68 brush is a felt-tip pen with a flexible brush tip that lets you vary the line width by adjusting the pressure. You use it for creative DIY projects such as hand lettering, colouring in, highlighting, underlining and creating shadow effects. The brush shape gives you more expressive options than a regular pen.

Why a flexible brush tip is the right choice
The flexible brush tip sets this pen apart from ordinary felt-tip pens, as you can create different line widths without switching pens. Pressing harder or softer changes the line width, which is essential for artistic techniques such as hand lettering, where you combine thick and thin lines. This gives you more control over your creativity.

Water-based ink for versatile use
This brush pen works with water-based shades, which ensures a smooth ink flow and consistent colour release. Water-based ink dries quickly on paper and produces bright, vibrant colours without smudging. Its easy handling makes the pen suitable for both beginners and experienced users of creative techniques.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always start with light pressure to get used to the flexibility of the brush tip before you begin varying the line thickness. For hand lettering, first practise the movement without pressure, so you can feel how the tip responds. Store the pen horizontally to prevent it from drying out and to keep the brush tip in good shape.
