What does a brush pen do and when do you need one?
A brush pen combines the precision of a pen with the flexibility of a brush. You use this pen for creative projects such as hand lettering, colouring in, highlighting, underlining and creating shadow effects. The flexible brush tip allows for different line thicknesses simply by adjusting the pressure.

Why choose a flexible brush tip?
The flexible brush tip of this STABILO pen responds directly to the pressure you apply. Light pressure produces thin lines for details, while more pressure creates broader strokes for fills and accents. This makes one pen suitable for several techniques within the same project, from fine lettering to broad areas of colour.

Advantages of water-based ink
The water-based shades ensure smooth ink flow and make the pen easy to use. This ink formulation dries quickly on paper and gives consistent colour intensity, which is important for projects where you combine multiple layers or techniques. The light handling means you can work for long periods without fatigue.

Practical applications for DIY projects
This brush pen is specifically designed for do-it-yourself applications. You can use it to letter text in planners and bullet journals, colour in illustrations in colouring books, highlight important passages in notes, or add decorative elements to handmade cards. The shade "bakkersaar" offers a warm, neutral tone that combines well with other colours in your creative projects.
