When do you need a technical pen?
A technical pen is used for precision drawings, technical sketches and detailed work where you need a constant line width. This type of fineliner is indispensable for architects, graphic designers and students who work with rulers and templates for exact drawings.

Why this 0.4 mm line width?
The 0.4 mm tip offers the perfect balance between visibility and precision. You get clearly visible lines that are not too thick for detailed work, yet not so fine that they become difficult to read. This width is ideal for general drawing and notes where you combine both text and lines.

Durable pigment ink for lasting results
This fineliner contains pigment ink that is archival, lightfast and waterproof. This means your drawings won't fade in sunlight and are resistant to moisture. On tracing paper, you can even erase the ink, which is handy for technical drawings where you want to make corrections without damaging the paper.

Practical tip for use with tools
The long metal tip is specially designed for use with rulers and templates. This construction lets you hold the fineliner flush against the edge without the tip sinking, so you can draw perfectly straight lines. The metal clip ensures you always have the pen to hand while you work.
