What does a lever arch file do, and when do you need one?

A lever arch file is the ideal solution when you want to keep loose documents together without binding them. You can quickly file punched sheets in it and just as easily take them out again. This makes it perfect for files you consult or add to regularly, such as project documentation, correspondence or administration.

Why this A4 format is the right choice

This lever arch file is suitable for standard A4 documents, the most widely used paper size in offices and at home. With dimensions of 240 x 320 mm, it provides exactly enough room to store A4 sheets neatly and fully covered. You don't need to worry about documents sticking out of the file or bending over the edge.

An honest look at the board

The lever arch file is made from coated Colorspan board with a weight of 355 g/m². This is sturdy board that keeps its shape under normal use, although it isn't a hard cover. The coating means the surface attracts dirt less readily and is somewhat more moisture-resistant than untreated board. The yellow colour also makes it easy to visually distinguish different files from one another.

Practical tip on capacity

The built-in lever mechanism has room for a maximum of 350 sheets. Please note that this applies to standard paper of common thickness; if you use heavier paper or divider sheets, the effective capacity will be lower. Also make sure your documents are correctly punched in advance, so they fit properly in the mechanism and the lever arch file keeps working smoothly.
