What is a lever arch file and when do you need one?

A lever arch file is the ideal solution when you want to store loose documents quickly and neatly without punching holes in them or putting them in a ring binder. You use it for project files, invoices or correspondence, for example, that you want to consult regularly but still keep together.

Why this A4 format is the right choice

This lever arch file from EXACOMPTA is made for the standard A4 format and measures 240 x 320 mm. That makes it suitable for virtually all common office and home office documents. The lever mechanism keeps your papers firmly in place, so your file won't open accidentally.

Sturdy card quality you'll notice in use

The file is made from coated Colorspan card weighing 355 g/m². That is considerably heavier than standard file card, so the lever arch file keeps its shape even if you take it out of a drawer or bag regularly. The black colour is applied evenly across the coated surface, which gives the file a neat appearance even after long-term use.

Capacity and a practical storage tip

The built-in lever mechanism holds up to 350 sheets, which amounts to a substantial file. When filling it, distribute the documents evenly so the mechanism isn't loaded unevenly on one side. If you want to store several lever arch files side by side on a shelf, we recommend sticking a label on the spine or front for quick identification, as the black colour makes writing directly on it difficult to read.
