When should you choose this colouring pencil?
The Faber-Castell Colour GRIP colouring pencil is ideal for extended drawing and colouring sessions where you need a comfortable grip. Thanks to its triangular shape, the pencil sits steadily in your hand and won't roll off your desk. This makes it perfect for children learning to draw, but also for adults doing precision work.

Why the triangular shape with grip zone?
The triangular shape provides a natural finger position, so your hand tires less quickly while drawing. The Soft-Grip Zone offers extra comfort and prevents your fingers from slipping, even during prolonged use. This combination makes the pencil particularly suitable for people who do a lot of detailed work or have longer drawing sessions.

Water-soluble feature for versatile use
This colouring pencil is water-soluble, which means that after colouring you can add water to create watercolour effects. This gives you two techniques in one product: colouring dry for crisp lines and details, or working wet for soft transitions and colour blending. This makes the pencil highly versatile for a range of artistic projects.

Practical features for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm and a lead diameter of 3.0 mm, you have a robust pencil that will last a long time. The name field on the pencil lets you personalise or mark it, which is handy in classrooms or shared workspaces. The white colour is perfect as a base for light tones or for adding highlights to your drawings.
