What does this watercolour pencil do?
This triangular watercolour pencil from Faber-Castell is water-soluble and ideal for creative projects where you want to achieve both dry colour effects and watercolour-like results. By adding water, you can wash out and blend the colours for soft transitions.

Why choose this triangular shape?
The triangular shape provides a better grip and prevents the pencil from rolling off your desk. This ergonomic design is especially useful during long periods of use. The soft-grip zone enhances comfort and gives you more control over your drawings, which is particularly important for detailed work.

Benefits of the 3.0 mm lead diameter
With a lead diameter of 3.0 mm, you can create both broad areas of colour and finer details. This thickness is sturdier than thin pencil leads and breaks less easily, ensuring consistent colour results.

Practical usage tip
The pencil is 175 mm long and features a name field where you can write your name. This prevents you from losing your materials in a shared workspace. For the best watercolour effect, use a damp brush to wash out the coloured surfaces; this creates natural colour transitions.
