What are coloured pencils?
Coloured pencils are ideal for creative projects where you want to use a range of colour shades. They are perfect for drawing, colouring and taking notes with colour coding.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape of these Faber-Castell pencils provides a natural and relaxed grip. Thanks to the Soft-Grip Zone, you get extra comfort during prolonged use and your fingers won't slip. This makes them particularly suitable for children still developing their pencil grip, but adults also appreciate the ergonomic design.

Water-soluble for watercolour effects
With a lead strength of 3.0 mm, these pencils are robust enough for intensive use. What's special about these pencils is that they are water-soluble - this means you can blend the colour with a wet brush for watercolour effects. In this way, you combine the precision of a pencil with the soft transitions of watercolour paint.

Practical details for everyday use
The length of 175 mm makes these pencils easy to handle without being too short or too long. The name field on the pencil is handy if you use them in a shared environment such as school or office - that way, you won't lose them. Store them in a pencil case to protect the tips and extend their lifespan.
