When do you need a colouring pencil with a thick lead?
This triangular colouring pencil from Faber-Castell has been specially developed for creating broad, even colour strokes and colouring in large areas. With its 5.3 mm lead, this pencil is ideal when you want to apply a lot of colour quickly or are working on projects that require filling large surfaces.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your table and ensures a natural, relaxed position of your fingers. This makes drawing and colouring for longer periods much more comfortable. The grip zone offers extra hold, giving you more control over your lines and areas of colour.

Versatile thanks to water-soluble properties
This colouring pencil is water-soluble, which means that after colouring you can go over the colour with a damp brush for a watercolour effect. This allows you to create soft transitions or give your drawing a painted look. The chestnut brown colour gives warm, natural tones that combine well with other earthy colours.

Practical in use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil sits comfortably in the hand and offers sufficient grip for precise work. The name field on the pencil makes it easy to label, handy for the classroom or when you use multiple colours. Thanks to its sturdy construction, this pencil lasts a long time, even with intensive use.
