When do you need extra thick colouring pencils?
Jumbo colouring pencils with a 5.3 mm lead strength are ideal for young children who are just learning to draw and colour. The pencils release plenty of colour straight away, so children need to apply less pressure.

Why choose a triangular shape?
The triangular shape of this pencil ensures that your fingers automatically take the right position for writing and drawing. This helps children learn the correct pencil grip and prevents the pencil from rolling out of your hand during use.

Benefits of the Soft-Grip Zone
This Faber-Castell pencil has special grip zones that provide extra hold. The Soft-Grip Zone makes the pencil more comfortable to hold, especially during longer drawing activities. In addition, this colouring pencil is watersoluble, which means you can wash the colour out with water for watercolour effects.

Practical details for use
The pencil measures 175 mm in length and features a name field where you can write the child's name. This is handy at school or in childcare to avoid losing pencils.
