What does this product do?
The Faber-Castell Jumbo Grip colouring pencil has been specially developed for children who are learning to draw and colour. The extra-thick 5.3 mm colour lead makes it easier for toddlers and young children to draw without the pencil breaking easily. The triangular design helps them develop the correct pencil grip.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape was not chosen by chance: it automatically encourages the correct tripod grip that children need for writing. Combined with the Soft-Grip zone, it prevents little fingers from slipping while colouring. This makes the pencil ideal for children who are still developing their fine motor skills.

Water-soluble for extra fun
This colouring pencil is water-soluble, which means you can work on the coloured surfaces with water and a brush to create watercolour effects. This gives children the opportunity to experiment with different techniques and creates beautiful colour transitions and soft effects in their artwork.

Practical tip for long-lasting use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil has plenty of material for lots of drawing fun. The name field on the pencil lets you write your child's name, which is handy for use at school or in childcare. Store the pencil upright in a pencil pot to protect the tip, and make sure the name field always remains visible.
