When do you need an F-grade pencil?
The Faber-Castell CASTELL 9000 with F hardness grade is ideal when you want to draw or write precisely without the lines becoming too dark or too light. This grade sits between HB and H, allowing you to create fine details that remain clearly visible. Perfect for technical drawing, architectural sketches or when you need to erase a lot without smudging.

Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this pencil prevents it from rolling off your desk, which is especially handy during long drawing sessions. Thanks to this shape, the pencil also sits more stably in your hand, giving you more control over your lines and making cramp less likely during intensive use.

The benefits of special bonding
This pencil features a special bonding technique that protects the lead against breaking. This means you can work for longer without the tip suddenly snapping, even when applying a little more pressure while drawing. The lead has a thickness of approximately 2 mm, striking a good balance between durability and precision.

Practical details about the finish
The green water-based lacquer gives this pencil a recognisable look and protects the wood against moisture and wear. The green colour is characteristic of Faber-Castell's CASTELL 9000 series, making it easy to tell apart from other pencils in your pencil case. Thanks to the water-based lacquer technology, the finish stays looking good for longer, even with regular use.
