When do you need this pencil?
This pencil is suitable for drawings, sketches and artistic work where you want control and precision. The soft graphite lead releases easily, allowing you to draw smoothly and create shading.

Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this Faber-Castell pencil ensures that it doesn't roll off your drawing table or desk. This gives you more control while drawing and prevents your pencil from unexpectedly falling away. The shape also sits comfortably in your hand, especially during prolonged use.

What does the special bonding mean?
This pencil has a special bonding that protects the graphite lead against breaking. This technology ensures that the lead is firmly secured in the wood, so you experience fewer broken tips while drawing. This is especially important for soft graphite grades, which are naturally more delicate.

Practical benefits of the green lacquer
The green appearance of this CASTELL 9000 pencil makes it easy to recognise among other pencils. The lacquer is applied using water-based lacquer technology, which ensures a durable finish. The lead diameter of approximately 2 mm gives you enough graphite for extensive drawing work without having to sharpen too often.
