What does this rollerball pen do?
The Faber-Castell Free Ink Fine is a rollerball pen that applies liquid ink to paper via a conical tip. Thanks to the constant ink flow, the pen writes smoothly and without interruptions, making it suitable for daily writing where you want a fine, sharp line.

Why choose the 0.4 mm variant?
With a writing width of 0.4 mm, you produce a fine, detailed line. This makes the pen ideal if you have small handwriting, make precise notes, or want to keep tidy notes in diaries and notebooks. The conical tip gives you extra control over the pen's writing.

Ink level always in view
A notable feature is the viewing window that lets you check the ink supply directly without opening the pen. This way you know in good time when the ink is nearly out and won't unexpectedly run dry during a meeting or a busy workday. This small detail prevents unnecessary interruptions.

A conscious choice for recycled material
The plastic parts of this pen are made up of 83% recycled plastic. That is a concrete fact if you consider the environmental impact of office supplies when making your purchases. The light grey casing is a directly visible result of that recycled material. Please note that this is a rollerball pen with liquid ink; for the best writing result, use it preferably on smooth or semi-smooth paper, and store the pen horizontally or with the tip pointing downwards to keep the ink flow optimal.
