When do you choose this product?

What does this product do?

Tonkarton is sturdy coloured card used for craft projects, mounting drawings, making cards and other creative applications. This folia card is coloured throughout, which means the colour is not just on the surface but runs through the entire sheet. This is useful when you cut, punch or fold the edges, as no white core will show through.

Why this variant?

This card comes in the colour chamois, a soft, warm shade that works well as a background or base on which you apply other materials. The pack contains 25 sheets measuring 500 x 700 mm, giving you enough working surface to cut your own pieces to size for smaller projects. The weight of 180 g/m² gives the card enough rigidity to stand upright on its own, for example when making standing cards or boxes.

Property to keep in mind

The card is acid-free, which means it will not turn yellow or brittle over time as cheaper paper can. This makes it suitable for work you want to keep for longer, such as in a scrapbook or archive folder. The high-quality feel and absorbency that folia mentions suggest the card feels pleasant and takes ink or glue well, which is relevant if you draw, paint or stick with it.
