What does this product do?

Tonkarton is sturdy craft and drawing card that you use for creative projects where a thicker, more solid base is needed than ordinary paper. The card is suitable for drawing, cutting, sticking and other DIY applications at school, in the nursery or at home. Thanks to its weight of 180 g/m², it offers more firmness than standard printer paper, so it is less likely to tear or warp with intensive use.

Why this size and quantity?

At a size of 500 x 700 mm, you have plenty of surface area to make larger projects or to cut the sheet to size for smaller ones. The set contains 25 sheets, which gives you enough stock for a number of consecutive activities without having to buy new material each time. This makes the card practical for use in a classroom or group where several children work at the same time.

What do 'dyed through' and 'acid-free' mean in practice?

Because the card is coloured throughout, you won't see white edges when you cut or tear it, which gives a neat result for fine cut-out work. The ultramarine colour therefore remains consistently visible on all sides of the sheet. The fact that the card is acid-free also means that it is less likely to yellow or become brittle
