When do you choose this product?

What does this product do?

Tonkarton is coloured card that you use for craft work, presentations, invitations and other creative applications where you need a sturdy, colourfast base. Because the card is coloured throughout, the colour remains visible right through to the core, even when you cut, tear or punch it. This makes it suitable for projects where the edges stay visible, such as layered designs or die-cut shapes.

Why this size and weight?

With a size of 500 x 700 mm, you have room to make larger pieces or to cut several smaller shapes from a single sheet, which is efficient for batch craft work. The weight of 180 g/m² gives the card a firm, pleasant feel that is thicker than ordinary paper, yet still easy to fold and cut. The pack contains 25 sheets in the colour corn yellow, so you have enough material for several projects in the same shade.

Acid-free and absorbent: what does that mean for you?

This tonkarton is acid-free, which means it will not yellow or become brittle over time, an important advantage if you want to keep or exhibit your work. The high absorbency of the material ensures that paint, glue and other media soak in well without the card warping or becoming waterlogged.
