When do you choose this product?

What is this tonkarton and when do you use it?

Tonkarton is coloured card that you use for cutting, sticking and drawing work where a sturdier base is needed than ordinary paper. With a weight of 180 g/m², this sheet has enough body to fold, cut and glue without immediately becoming limp or wavy. You choose it for creative projects, presentations, decorations or educational applications where colour and sturdiness come together.

Why the 500 x 700 mm size works

This large format gives you room to cut out the dimensions you want yourself, without being limited to a standard A-size. That makes the card suitable for larger workpieces, backgrounds or decorative elements, but also for cutting several smaller pieces from a single sheet. The 25 sheets per pack give you enough stock to cover multiple projects or a whole class.

Fully coloured and acid-free: what it means for your work

The card is fully coloured, meaning the colour is not just on the surface but runs through the entire sheet. If you cut, tear or bend the card, the medium green colour remains visible at the edge, with no white showing through. Because the material is acid-free, it fades and becomes brittle less quickly over time, which
