What does this product do?
A keilrahmen is a stretched painter's canvas on a wooden frame, essential for oil and acrylic paintings. You need this when you want to paint on a professional surface that stays stable and does not sag during your work. The canvas is already fully prepared, so you can start painting straight away.

Why choose this specific size?
With dimensions of 400×1200 mm, you get an elongated panoramic format that is perfect for landscapes, skylines or abstract compositions that stretch horizontally. This wide format offers plenty of room for dynamic compositions and gives you the opportunity to develop multiple scenes side by side.

Professional preparation for immediate use
The canvas is 4-fold primed and stretched with 100% cotton of 380 g/m². This ground layer ensures that paint does not soak into the canvas but sits beautifully on top. The canvas is only stapled at the back, so the sides remain smooth and you can optionally paint over the edges for a modern look.

Suitable for various painting techniques
You can use this canvas for both oil and acrylic paint, and also for serviettentechnik. The frame depth of 38 mm gives the canvas a sturdy appearance and ensures that the work hangs well on the wall. Thanks to the ground layer, you do not need to apply a primer and can start your artwork straight away.
