What does this stretched canvas do?
A stretched canvas is an essential painting material on which the canvas is already stretched over a wooden frame, ready to use. This KREUL stretched canvas measuring 500 × 600 mm gives you a ready-to-paint surface without having to stretch the canvas yourself. It is ideal for artists who want to start painting straight away.

Why choose this size?
The 500 × 600 mm size gives you enough room for medium-sized artworks without becoming unwieldy. This dimension is suitable for portraits, landscapes or abstract works where you want to combine detail with an overall view. The frame has a depth of 38 mm, giving your painting a professional finish.

Preparation and material
This canvas is 4-fold primed, which means the surface is perfectly prepared for paint. The 100% cotton canvas of 380 g/m² provides a sturdy base suitable for a range of painting techniques. The primer ensures that the paint adheres well and does not soak into the weave.

Suitable for multiple techniques
You can use this stretched canvas for oil paint, acrylic paint and napkin decoupage. The canvas is stapled only at the back, so the sides stay smooth and you can hang the painting without a frame. This gives you the flexibility to choose how you present the finished result.
